Products without Download Files or Keys
Office for Mac
Microsoft's Volume License Serializer is used to activate Office LTSC for Mac 2024, Office LTSC for Mac 2021, or Office 2019 for Mac as a Volume Licensed version.

Client Access License (CAL)
A Client Access License (CAL) is not a product, but a license that gives a user privileges to access the server. You don’t need a software download file or 5*5 product key to activate a CAL. The CAL is activated and installed through the activation wizard directly from your machine.

Activation Error 0x8004e026
- Activation Stack Corruption
- Incompatible versions/editions
- Volume License Misuse

Try the following troubleshooting steps to determine what is the causing Error 0x8004e026:

Run Activation Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings
- Select Update & Security
- Select Activation and run the troubleshooter.

Check Internet & Date/Time:
- Ensure your connection is stable and system time is correct.

Update Windows:
- Install all pending updates.

Use Command Prompt (Admin):
- Open Command Prompt as administrator.
- Run
slmgr.vbs /dlvto view license status. - Try re-entering your key with
slmgr.vbs /ipk YOUR-PRODUCT-KEY(replace placeholder).

Check Event Viewer:
- Look in the Event Log for specific COM+ errors for more details.

You will need to sign into Microsoft. Review Microsoft's “sign-in helper” information if you are unable to sign in.
