Starting with Office 2019 on-premises applications and suites, including Visio and Project, can no longer be downloaded directly.  Beginning with Office 2019, IT administrators will use a special deployment tool from Microsoft to download and install these products.

• PC versions of Office 2019 and Office LTSC 2021 use Click-to-Run technology instead of the traditional Windows Installer technology.
• Mac versions of Office 2019 for Mac and Office LTSC for Mac 2021 use Microsoft's Volume License Serializer to activate as a Volume Licensed version.

Office for Mac

Starting with Office for Mac 2019, Microsoft's Volume License Serializer is used to activate Office for Mac products as a Volume Licensed version.  You will not use a product key to activate the software.
