CSP Billing Terms

TechSoup offers two different billing terms for Microsoft Cloud Subscriptions:

Annual Contract with Annual Billing

• You pay up front for the subscription for the full year.
• You are guaranteed price protection for the full year.
• You will have 72 hours after your purchase or renewal date to cancel or reduce licenses. After 72 hours, your subscription is locked for the duration of the annual term. No changes can be made until your next renewal date.

Monthly Contract with Monthly Billing

• You pay for the subscription one month at a time (monthly billing)
• You are guaranteed price protection for 30 days at a time.
• You will have 72 hours after your purchase or renewal date to reduce or cancel licenses. After 72 hours, your subscription is locked for the remaining duration of your monthly term. No changes can be made until your next renewal date.
• If you opt for monthly billing, you may see increased pricing compared to annual billing.

CSP Renewal Payments

You will be charged using the payment method your organization has chosen.  If we are unable to process your payment, we will notify you via email. You will have 72 hours to update your payment method or resolve the issue. Otherwise, your subscriptions will be automatically canceled.

NOTE: TechSoup is unable to reactivate a canceled subscription.

Payments made via bank transfer or checks must be made thirty (30) days prior to the date of the renewal subscription. Customers who pay via bank transfer or checks will only be eligible for the annual or triennial term billing cycles.

CSP Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations: You may cancel your order or reduce license-count within three (3) calendar days (i.e., 72 hours) following your time of purchase or renewal.  If you miss this window, you will have to wait until your next renewal date to make the desired changes.

Refunds: Prorated refunds are only possible if the return is made within three (3) calendar days (i.e., 72 hours) following your time of purchase or renewal.
