Overview

NOTE: This article only applies to Microsoft cloud-based licensing and solutions; it does not apply to Microsoft on-premises products or other cloud-based products, such as QuickBooks Online.

TechSoup Cloud Support Services Fee

While all Microsoft 365 and Office 365 licenses include Cloud Support services, starting January 2023, the Microsoft 365 Business Basic plan includes a $1/user/month fee to help TechSoup provide the TechSoup Cloud Support Services.

NOTE: Organizations are welcome to request the donated Microsoft 365 Business Basic plan directly from Microsoft for Nonprofits.  However, TechSoup can only provide support for cloud-based licensing and solutions that were received through TechSoup.  If you request your cloud licenses through the Microsoft for Nonprofits portal or another reseller, you will have to contact that support team for assistance.  See, Where did I acquire my Microsoft cloud subscriptions?, for more information.

TechSoup Cloud Support Services

TechSoup Cloud Support Services are included with all Microsoft Cloud licenses obtained through TechSoup. Cloud Support Services provide the following:

• Access to ongoing consultations with TechSoup's experts in Microsoft solutions for nonprofits and self-service tools to help determine the right licenses and related products to support your organization.
   
• Support in setting up and assigning licenses to users, including configuring role-based access levels.
   
• Ongoing management of your licenses, including adding and removing license holders and downgrading and upgrading plans.
   
• Error resolution and direct case escalation with Microsoft in a prioritized queue when needed.
   
• Valuable resources, designed specifically for nonprofits, to support your organization's adoption of Microsoft solutions.
   
• Flexible billing options with credit card or eCheck (bank account ACH transfer).
