Not Recommended: Sharing Member Accounts

Member Name
Some of TechSoup’s corporate partners require the name of a contact for each recipient organization before they will allow a request to be processed and fulfilled.
Due to these requirements, TechSoup cannot accept generic member names. For example, we cannot accept: “your organization’s name”, “IT Dept”, or “Executive Director”.
A generic member name will prevent an organization from being qualified, or if already qualified, requests will not be fulfilled until it the member name is updated to a valid first and last name.

The email address listed in your your member details is used to login to your TechSoup account and where some of TechSoup's communications are sent. You are required to use an login email address with an active inbox, so you are able to confirm your email address and reset your password. Members are required to confirm their login email address, when a member account is created and when the login email address is updated.
Your login email address may be different than the "Organization Email" listed in your organization's details. The organization email is where most fulfillment and billing/renewal notifications are sent. Learn how to view and update your organization details.
