Anti-Discrimination Policy
TechSoup Global is an equal opportunity organization and will not allow discrimination based upon age, ethnicity, ancestry, sex, gender identity, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, or any other status prohibited by applicable law.
Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of the above grounds in order to receive resources from TechSoup. External evidence, such as negative publicity or social media, that reveals such discrimination, hate speech, or disrespectful or bullying behavior, as determined by TechSoup in its sole discretion, may be taken into consideration. TechSoup reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Organizations will also be subject to eligibility requirements from donors who may require agreement to their own anti-discrimination policies.
Places of Worship and Religious Organizations
We understand that, when it comes to employment practices, religious organizations are exempt from certain federal laws prohibiting discrimination against individuals based on religion. For example, a place of worship could require the teacher of their religious studies class (e.g. Talmud, Sunday School, etc.) to be of the same faith as the congregation.
However, this exemption is limited to employment and does not extend to exclusion of individuals trying to access services provided to the public.
For more information, you may review Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Community Standards Policy
TechSoup reserves the right to refuse service to any organization engaged in misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, or criminal behavior that may cause individual or societal harm.
TechSoup Community Forums posts may not include abusive language, incorrect, misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent information, or advertisements. Such conduct violates TechSoup’s Community Standards and posts will be removed for violation.
