While the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) does provide tax benefits for other types of nonprofits (see list here), only organizations recognized as tax-exempt with the IRS under code 501(c)(3) or as a public library are eligible to request nonprofit offers from the TechSoup catalog.
An organization may also be eligible under an IRS group exemption status, as is the case with certain national service organizations or church denominations that list their subordinate members.
The following TechSoup resources are available to individuals and all organization types. You are not required to hold 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status or be a public library.
You will need to join TechSoup as a member to access some of the resources. Once you have joined, you do not need to add an organization to your TechSoup account.
