The following instructions within this article will walk you through requesting cloud Microsoft for Nonprofits products and solutions on cloud.techsoup.org.
They do not apply to requesting on-premises Microsoft for Nonprofits products on www.techsoup.org. See, How do I request on-premises Microsoft products on TechSoup?, instead.
1. Register with both TechSoup and Microsoft for Nonprofits. Once registered, both accounts will need to be qualified and validated by TechSoup.
You are required to have both a qualified TechSoup account and a validated Microsoft for Nonprofits account to access cloud Microsoft for Nonprofits products and solutions on TechSoup.

Once your TechSoup account is qualified, confirm what offers your organization is eligible for with the Eligibility Quiz. Eligibility for offers is determined by the provider in accordance with their philanthropic goals and may vary according to organization information such as size, budget, location, or mission. Being ineligible for an offer is not a comment on an organization’s mission or services.
2. Authorize TechSoup as a provider (aka partner) in your Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

3. Get to Know Microsoft for Nonprofits Cloud Offers
Check out Office 365 Enterprise, Microsoft 365, or other Microsoft cloud offers available through TechSoup.
On TechSoup, get introduced to available Microsoft cloud solutions. When you’re ready, you’ll request your subscriptions and licenses on TechSoup Cloud Manager. We recommend double-checking the details of each selected plan, like Overview, Features, and Plans & Pricing, before checking out.
Microsoft's Utilization Requirements
Microsoft requires organizations to actively use at least 85 percent of assigned donated licenses. It's important that organizations stay in compliance with Microsoft's utilization requirements for donated licenses.
Once you have requested cloud licenses, use our guide to help understand your current usage.
4. Checking Out on TechSoup Cloud Manager
- Log in to TechSoup Cloud Manager (cloud.techsoup.org).
- Select VIEW PLANS to review the product you are interested in.
- When viewing products, select ADD TO CART for your chosen plan.
- You’ll be presented with some options, including choosing monthly or annual payments, giving your subscription a name, updating license quantities, and choosing from available add-ons. Once you’re ready, select PROCEED TO CHECKOUT.
- You’ll be asked to review your cart and billing information.
On a step called Service Details, you’ll be asked to provide a Microsoft account domain that connects us to your nonprofit.microsoft.com account and helps us confirm your organization’s eligibility. - Complete checking out.
Your organization will receive cloud subscription invoices at the email address listed as your organization’s contact in your account on Cloud Manager. To ensure that these invoices are being received, we recommend adding uscustomerservice@techsoup[.org] to the email account’s safe sender list within Outlook. You can see how to do this at Create safe sender lists in EOP.
Please note: uscustomerservice@techsoup[.org] is not monitored; support requests should not be sent to this email address.
