Create a Free Adobe ID
Before you download and install your product you will be required to sign in with an Adobe ID. If you do not have one, create a free Adobe ID on Adobe's website. Learn more in Adobe’s Create or update your Adobe ID.
Download Your Software
- Download Adobe Acrobat Pro or Adobe Acrobat Standard
- Download Adobe Photoshop Elements | 2025, 2024
- Download Adobe Premiere Elements | 2025, 2024
Invalid Serial Number
Adobe tests serial numbers before providing them to TechSoup, so it is rare that they are invalid.
The following checks resolve most download and installation issues:
- Confirm that you are downloading the correct version of the product.
- Uninstall any previous or trial versions of the same product.
- Try copying and pasting the serial number directly from your TechSoup fulfillment email into the designated field.
- When installing on a secondary computer, make sure the software is not running on the primary computer. While Adobe licensing allows a single-user product to be installed on a primary and secondary computer of the same operating system, the software cannot be run simultaneously on both computers.
Reinstall or Transfer Your Software
Adobe desktop software may be transferred or reinstalled onto new or different computers, so long as the license key has not expired and Adobe still offers the software for download. Some software, such as Acrobat Pro 2020, have expiration dates. Learn how to confirm your Acrobat Pro expiration date.
To prepare your Adobe product for reinstallation or migration, you must deactivate the license key and uninstall the software. Uninstalling or deleting the software from the old computer or formatting the computer does not deactivate the app.
Follow Adobe’s activation and deactivation instructions to complete the process.
If the computer on which you have installed the product is no longer available and your Adobe account is still active, you may be able to deactivate your license key from the account management page and then download the software from your account.
