Why are there eligibility requirements?

TechSoup partners with many providers to support the technology needs of nonprofits, libraries, and other social benefit organizations worldwide.

Providers rely on TechSoup to verify that participating organizations meet eligibility criteria to benefit from the technology solutions offered. This includes a rigorous review of each organization to validate its legal status and verify that its mission, primary activities, and other details align with the eligibility criteria for specific offers.

While all validated organizations are eligible for at least some offers, not every organization meets the eligibility criteria of every provider.

TechSoup’s eligibility experts work closely with our legal department and the participating providers to ensure that all eligibility determinations are fair and impartial to optimize access to valuable technology solutions while meeting providers’ philanthropic goals.

Eligibility determinations might be subject to review by TechSoup auditors or as a result of an appeal. All reviews prompted by appeals are final.
