Why does TechSoup charge administrative fees?

As a nonprofit organization ourselves, administrative (admin) fees contribute to the overall cost of TechSoup’s operations and provide the necessary support for us to continue to offer donated and discounted technology products to nonprofits and libraries around the world.

Additionally, TechSoup is continuously investing in how we support the nonprofit sector. We do this by improving infrastructure and support, building new services, and launching new programs to empower nonprofits.  At TechSoup, we strive to ensure costs for the nonprofit organizations we serve are kept at the lowest possible amount. As a fellow nonprofit organization, we understand that costs can be a burden. This is why we try to limit administrative fee increases and to keep these fees as affordable as possible.
