Who can use Consultant Connection?

Any registered 501c3 organization can use Consultant Connection, regardless of mission or budget.  Nonprofit organizations that are seeking expertise can use Consultant Connection to search for experts in IT, HR, Accounting, Fundraising, and other areas.  

What is the difference between Consultant Connection and TechSoup Services?

With Consultant Connection, you can choose which provider you would like to work with based on what criteria is important to you.  Our search feature lets you find a consultant that is the right fit for your organization based on expertise, location, and if the consultancy is a nonprofit itself.  Consultant Connection also allows you to reach out to multiple organizations to compare rates and service offerings.  For more information about selecting a consultant, check out this article from TechSoup.

TechSoup also offers Services through our nonprofit marketplace.  These services are delivered by one of TechSoup’s trusted partner organizations.  With TechSoup services, you do not have the option to select which consultancy you will work with, and will be paired with one of our experienced implementation partners.

How do I reach out to a Consultant?

When you would like to have an introductory consultation with a consultant, click on the name of the organization to expand their profile.  Under their contact information, click on the “Get Connected For Free” button and the consultant will see your request for information.

What happens after I reach out?

The consultant will reach out to your organization directly to discuss the project.  Neither you nor the consultant has any obligation to engage in a project at this point.  

Can I leave a review for a Consultant?

Yes!  If you have a great experience with a consultant, leave a review so other nonprofits can learn about their great work.  Next to the “Get Connected For Free” button, you can click on “Leave a Review.”
