Overview

If your organization is currently using an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription that is discounted through TechSoup, you may have received a notification from Adobe stating, "Your student subscription will expire soon."

In 2024, Adobe updated the discounted rate for their Adobe Creative Cloud for Individuals All Apps Plan 1-Year Membership – Access to Discounted Rates offer.  Previously, nonprofit organizations received the same education discount available to students. Adobe has moved to offering nonprofits their own discounted rate - see New Discounted Rate below for more information.

Please note: This issue is only affecting organization who activated their discounted rate before 2024.

How to Re-Access the Discounted Rate

After testing their system, Adobe confirmed there is no way to apply the nonprofit discount to your current Adobe ID.  You will need to re-sign up using a new Adobe ID:

  1. Download and save any files from your current account so you can transfer them to your new account. Learn more about transferring files across Adobe accounts or profiles.
  2. Cancel your current subscription at the end of your current subscription to avoid any cancellation fees. Learn how to cancel your Adobe subscription.
  3. Contact TechSoup Customer Service for a new Adobe Creative Cloud for Individuals All Apps Plan 1-Year Membership registration link.
  4. Once you have the new registration link, sign up using an email address not affiliated with an existing Adobe ID

New Discounted Rate

Previously, Adobe Creative Cloud for Individuals All Apps Plan 1-Year Membership – Access to Discounted Rates provided organizations a 60% discount the first year, then 40% discount the following years.

The new offer for each year provides access to a minimum discount of 49% off the current rates for a new Creative Cloud All Apps plan membership. The exact discount depends on Adobe's current rates and this membership comes with a one-year contract obligation.

Adobe Express

Your organization may also be interested in moving to Adobe Express Premium Plan, 1-Year Individual Membership. Adobe Express is currently free to TechSoup members.
