Live Chat Currently Unavailable
TechSoup Canada’s live chat is temporarily unavailable. We anticipate TechSoup Canada’s live chat becoming available again by Fall 2026.
While the live chat option is closed for system improvement, members can still use the Help widget, , to ask our Chat AI questions or email TechSoup Canada Customer Service to request support.
We appreciate our members’ patience and understanding while the live chat is closed for system improvements.

Am I chatting with a real person?
Yes! When you access the Help widget,, you will first be connected with the TechSoup Support Virtual Assistant. To connect with one of our skilled TechSoup Customer Service representatives, you will need to enter one of the terms or phrases in How to Contact TechSoup Canada Customer Service.
How long is the average wait time on Live Chat?
During certain times of the year our Live Chat wait times can exceed two hours.
TechSoup Canada is a Canadian federal nonprofit organization who strives to provide quality support with the resources available to us. We appreciate our members’ patience when we experience delays and are always working towards improving our response times.
Why was I kicked out of the Live Chat queue?
In rare cases when there are wait times over 20 minutes long, browsers have been known to time out while a member is waiting to connect with a TechSoup Customer Service representative.
We recommend periodically posting in the chat window to ensure your browser does not time out and kick you out of the waiting queue.
Why can’t I call TechSoup Customer Service?
Beginning in 2024, TechSoup Canada Customer Service transitioned to supporting our members exclusively through Live Chat. As a nonprofit ourselves TechSoup does our best to provide quality and timely service with the resources we can sustain. At this time we have determined our resources are best focused on email and Live Chat support.

Use the Live Chat to connect with our customer service team, who can support you with:

- Eligibility questions
- Navigating resources and requesting offers on www.techsoup.ca
- Basic product information and support
- Locating fulfillment information and support information / resources (e.g. download and installation).
