Overview
Adobe desktop software may be transferred or reinstalled onto new or different computers, so long as the license key has not expired and Adobe still offers the software for download.
Some software, such as Acrobat Pro 2020, have expiration dates. Learn how to confirm your Acrobat Pro expiration date.
Reinstall or Transfer Your Software
To prepare your Adobe product for reinstallation or migration, you must deactivate the license key and uninstall the software. Uninstalling or deleting the software from the old computer or formatting the computer does not deactivate the app.
Follow Adobe’s activation and deactivation instructions to complete the process.
If the computer on which you have installed the product is no longer available and your Adobe account is still active, you may be able to deactivate your license key from the account management page and then download the software from your account.

Contact Adobe for reinstall or transfer support.
To access the Adobe Virtual Assistant, you will be required to log in with your Adobe ID. For a different method of contacting Adobe Support, select View other contact options at the top of the Virtual Assistant window.
Please note, Adobe will continue to support Acrobat Pro 2020 licenses until November 30, 2025.
