How do I active or renew my Norton subscription?

Overview

After your Norton for Nonprofits request is processed, TechSoup will send you a Subscription Redemption Links and the following instructions in a fulfillment email.   See your fulfillment emails at any time in your TechSoup account and learn more about Request Status and Fulfillment.

Redeeming Your Subscription

To extend an existing subscription, follow these instructions before your subscription expires.

After you've redeemed your subscription, you can manage it through your myNorton account.

Norton Secure VPN, Norton Small Business, and Norton Small Business Premium

  • Copy and paste one of the redemption links into your web browser's address bar to begin the redemption process.
  • Sign in to your Norton account or follow the instructions to create one.
  • Follow the onscreen instructions to download your product to your device and other devices.
  • To redeem another subscription, repeat steps one through three using a different subscription redemption link. You can use the same email address again in step two if you want to manage all your subscriptions with the same Norton account.

Norton 360 Deluxe 1-Year Subscription for 5 Devices

  1. Copy and paste one of the redemption links into your web browser's address bar to begin the redemption process.
  2. Sign in to your Norton account or follow the instructions to create one. Please note that if you activate more than one Norton 360 subscription with the same Norton account, the Dark Web Monitoring feature will be enabled only for the primary email address of that Norton account. 
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to download your product to your device and other devices.
  4. To redeem another subscription, repeat steps one through three using a different subscription redemption link. You can use the same email address again in step two if you want to manage all your subscriptions with the same Norton account.

Extending (Renewing) Your Subscription

To extend an existing subscription - whether you acquired the subscription from the retail market or through TechSoup - you will need to request your Norton for Nonprofits offer and follow the Redeeming Your Subscription instructions before your subscription expires.

February 28, 2025 Changes

Previously, Norton required TechSoup members extend their subscription after the existing subscription expired.  This caused issues and concerns about coverage for some of our members, and so Norton updated their nonprofit program to allow for members to extend before their subscription expires.
